Cameron admits calling Clegg a 'joke'

Prime Minister David Cameron has given a joint news conference with his deputy, Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg.

Amongst the questions, Mr Cameron was asked by journalist Andy Bell about the time he called Mr Clegg ''a joke''.

The new prime minister admitted it was true, adding his remark provided an opportunity to eat ''humble pie''.
