Can a wall painting help patients recover?

A giant five storey wall painting has been installed inside the atrium of the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.

The work entitled KIDS by renowned artist Michael Craig-Martin, which has been privately funded through donations, is opposite the Oxford Children's Hospital and will be seen by tens of thousands of people every year.

It is hoped it will brighten the lives of patients, staff and visitors and help the process of recovery.

The BBC's Arts Editor Will Gompertz went to see it.
