Cameron mocks "nonsense" pledges

David Cameron has attacked Gordon Brown's pledges to the British public, describing them as the "biggest display of brass neck in British history".

In an earlier speech to activists in Nottingham, Gordon Brown said Labour would put the "British people first", but Mr Cameron dismissed that as "nonsense" and accused the prime minister of taking people "for fools".
