A BBC investigation has revealed that more than 20 MPs have breached rules in relation to registering and declaring overseas trips paid for by foreign governments. The trips taken by Bob Laxton and his relevant parliamentary activities are below. Gibraltar Labour MP for Derby North, Bob Laxton, visited Gibraltar in
September 2005,
with his wife, on a trip paid for by the government of Gibraltar. Afterwards, he signed the following two early day motions relating to Gibraltar without declaring an interest: 1.

British Virgin Islands Mr Laxton visited the British Virgin Islands in
May 2006
as a guest of the islands' government. The trip was registered in October 2006 - outside the four-week period of registration stipulated in the MPs'
code of conduct.
The BBC asked Mr Laxton to comment, but as yet no reply has been received.
