Clegg: Ashcroft 'wholly wrong' not to pay British taxes

Conservative donor and deputy party chairman Lord Ashcroft has admitted he is "non-domiciled" in the UK for tax, which means his overseas earnings are not taxed by the UK government.

The Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg said that it is "wholly wrong" for a member of the House of Lords to avoid paying British taxes.
