George Osborne sets out 'benchmarks for Britain'


Shadow Chancellor George Osborne has set out eight 'Benchmarks for Britain' by which he says the success of a Conservative government's economic plans should be judged.

In a speech at the British Museum in London, Mr Osborne said the UK lagged behind in green technology, as he introduced plans that would see an increase in environmental investment.
