Baroness Kinnock has told the House of Lords that the Foreign Office Counter Terrorism (CT) budget will still go up next year, from £8.2m to £9.5m.
She had told peers at question time in the Lords on Wednesday 20th that the Foreign Office budget faces an estimated shortfall of £110m due to the weakness of the pound.
Her initial comments prompted Foreign Officer Minister Chris Bryant to make an urgent statement in the House of Commons.
