Islam4UK Islamist group has right of appeal, says MP

An Islamist group that has been banned under counter-terrorism laws has the right to appeal against the decision, says Labour MP Keith Vaz.

Mr Vaz defended the home secretary's decision to ban the group, Islam4UK, who had planned a march through the town of Wootton Bassett.

"The rule of law is followed in this particular case and they can if they wish to do so make their appeal and put their case before the courts", he said.
