Brown: We should set a timetable

The prime minister has revealed his hopes that work can start in 2010 on a timetable of transfer of power in Afghanistan.

Gordon Brown made his remarks in his annual speech on foreign policy at the Guildhall in the City of London.

He was speaking after the repatriation of two British soldiers who had died in the line of duty. James Landale reports.
