Hurd's diary notes on Berlin Wall


Germany is marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall and the start of the country's reunification.

Douglas Hurd was the UK Foreign Secretary at the time the wall came down.

Now a member of the House of Lords, he reads from his 1989 diary for the BBC, recounting his experience of the days when the world changed.
