Your questions: Sir Jock Stirrup

Sir Jock Stirrup
Sir Jock appeared on The Andrew Marr Show in July 2008

Air Marshall Sir Jock Stirrup is head of Her Majesty's Armed Forces and joins Andrew Marr on Sunday morning for a Remembrance Day special.

With more than 200 UK troops killed in Afghanistan since 2001 and controversy surrounding the recent presidential elections there, opinion is divided over military strategy.

Sir Jock has insisted the situation in Afghanistan can only be resolved through politics, aided by the military, which may involve talking to those in the Taliban willing to lay down their weapons.

Do you have any questions about Afghanistan or the UK's presence there? Andrew Marr will be talking to Sir Jock on Sunday morning. Send your thoughts using the form below.

The Andrew Marr Show is live on BBC One, 0900 - 1030 GMT, Sunday 8 November.
