Darling outlines bank break-ups

Chancellor Alistair Darling has outlined plans to MPs to sell off parts of the part-nationalised banks, RBS and Lloyds.

Both companies will offload some of their financial services and more than nine-hundred branches in order to comply with EU competition rules.
