The leader of the British National Party, Nick Griffin, has denounced the "unfairness" of the Question Time programme and has called on the BBC to give him a second chance to appear.
He faced a largely hostile audience at the filming in BBC Television Centre as large numbers of angry protesters demonstrated outside.
Mr Griffin said his appearance on the panel "was not genuine Question Time, it was a lynch mob".
