Lord Privy Seal

The Lord Privy Seal is a largely ceremonial cabinet post.

A prime minister will normally assign the position to a colleague whom they wish to carry out other ministerial or political duties.

In recent years the post of Lord Privy Seal has often been combined with that of Commons leader or leader of the House of Lords.
