Who is Daniel Hannan?

The Tory MEP Daniel Hannan has courted more controversy by saying Enoch Powell was one of his political influences.

Mr Hannan hit the headlines earlier in August when he described the NHS as a "60 year mistake" on US television.

He was also a sensation on YouTube, where a speech attacking British Prime Minister Gordon Brown has had more than two million hits.

Reporter Glenn Campbell has been looking at his career, to find out more about the man behind the headlines.
