With Gordon Brown in Italy for the G8 conference, Deputy Labour Leader Harriet Harman stepped up to the despatch box for prime minister's questions.

Standing in for Lib Dem leader Nick Clegg, Vince Cable led with pensions and bonuses in the public sector, asking why two thirds of civil servants need "excessive" bonuses to "get out of bed in the morning".
