Cable: 'We have to be more honest'

The Liberal Democrats say that the big public spending row between Labour and the Tories is "artificial" and have called for a proper debate about cuts.

Their Treasury Spokesman Vince Cable has urged the main parties to identify major areas of public spending which could be sliced.

He was speaking on the BBC's Andrew Marr show.
