Saturday at 1330 BST: The Northern Ireland affairs committee held an evidence session on policing and justice, with: • Sir Hugh Orde, chief constable, Police Service of Northern Ireland • Drew Harris, assistant chief constable, Police Service of Northern Ireland • David Cox, head, Historical Enquiries Team, Police Service of Northern Ireland Saturday at 1800 BST: Members of the liaison committee met to take evidence from Prime Minister Gordon Brown. The committee holds twice yearly sessions with the prime minister on a range of domestic and international issues Sunday at 1900 BST: The culture, media and sport committee met to continue its inquiry into press standards, press and libel, with particular attention to the News of the World phone tapping allegations.
