Expenses publication 'substandard'

Freedom of Information campaigner Heather Brooke has criticised the censorship of key details of MPs' expenses claims by the government.

She told the BBC that the official publication was a "substandard version".

She said "avoiding embarrassment has been the motivating factor", not concern over privacy and security, after large sections of the papers were blacked out.
