Welsh MPs' expenses in detail

Details of Welsh MPs' expenses claims over the past four years have been among those obtained and published by The Daily Telegraph.

Some of them have also released details themselves. Here is a summary of the reported claims made by Wales' only Independent MP, and his reactions, before their official release by the House of Commons authorities.

DAI DAVIES, BLAENAU GWENT

Dai Davies

Claim: Dai Davies's expenses include an average interest payment of £1,150 per month on his London home. He was reimbursed £600 for hiring a removal van to take donated second-hand furniture to his flat and bought a £100 bed from Argos. He was described by an Independent on Sunday columnist as "squeaky clean".

Response: The Blaenau Gwent MP said he claimed standard rail fare, paid for his own travel across London and has never claimed for a TV licence. He claims overall to be "subsidising the taxpayer by around £400 a month".
