Deputy Leader of the Labour Party, Harriet Harman, has denied a report that she would fight for the party leadership if the prime minister was forced from his position.

The reaction follows criticism from Communities Secretary Hazel Blears of the government, saying ministers had shown a "lamentable" failure to communicate.

The BBC's Jon Kay spoke to Ms Harman who says she is loyally supporting the leadership of Gordon Brown.
