Brown pledges unemployment action


Prime Minister Gordon Brown has said the Government is taking "urgent action" to help those who are unemployed, find work.

Official figures have shown that UK unemployment has risen above two million for the first time since 1997.

Gordon Brown was responding to a question from Conservative leader David Cameron.
