Lord Norton on 'surveillance society'

Electronic surveillance and collection of personal data are "pervasive" in British society and threaten to undermine democracy, peers have warned.

Lord Norton, former chairman of the select committee on constitution, outlines his concerns about the use of surveillance technology in the UK.
