Purnell on 'Golden Hello' scheme

The government is to announce plans to pay employers up to £2,000 if they hire people who have been out of work for more than six months.

The so-called Golden Hello is part of a £500m employment package to be announced by the Work and Pensions Secretary James Purnell.

He spoke to the BBC News Channel about the scheme.
