Mandelson grilled over Deripaska

Peter Mandelson has again rejected calls for him to discuss his meetings with Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska.

Mr Mandelson refused to answer questions posed to him by the BBC's Richard Galpin, saying the EU Commission had already confirmed "there was no conflict of interest, no impropriety".

Lord Mandelson's meetings with Mr Deripaska when he was EU trade commissioner have prompted accusations he may have intervened in EU policy on the his behalf.
