Jacqui Smith on knife 'confusion'

The home secretary has spoken about the ''confusion'' surrounding her comments on whether people who commit knife crime should visit victims in hospital.

Jacqui Smith said she wanted criminals to speak to doctors and to victims' families about the impact of their actions.
