Mr Brown is likely to discuss Iraq with President Bush
Gordon Brown is to hold talks with US President George Bush on Sunday and Monday in his first trip to Washington since taking over as prime minister.

Downing Street said Mr Brown will "have meetings with President Bush and his team at Camp David and he will be travelling from there to New York".

A White House spokesman said topics for discussion were likely to include the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Other likely topics include Darfur and Kosovo, the spokesman added.
