What makes Tory MP Anne Milton tick? Read on to find out...
Marital Status/Family: Married, four children
Educated: Haywards Heath Grammar School, St Bartholomew's Hospital
WHAT DID YOU DO BEFORE YOU WERE AN MP?
Trained as a nurse; more recently I have given medical advice to social housing providers.
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AT SCHOOL?
Talked too much, bit of a rebel.
WHAT ATTRACTED YOU TO POLITICS?
Frustration at government on all levels. Not enough people with a public sector background in the House of Commons.
WHAT'S THE BEST/WORST THING ABOUT BEING AN MP?
Best - having a rare chance to make a difference.
Worst - not being sure where everything is.
WHO IS YOUR HERO?
All those people who do so much, put up with so much adversity, but who we rarely hear about.
WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE SONG/PIECE OF MUSIC?
Can't pick. On Desert Island Discs would need 20 - but love UB40, Stevie Wonder, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Tamla Motown, Dire Straits and Phil Collins.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR FASHION SENSE?
OK-ish. Don't like looking frumpy.
WHAT'S YOUR IDEA OF A GOOD NIGHT OUT?
Film and curry with my husband or night in a pub with good company.
WHAT CAN'T YOU LIVE WITHOUT?
My family, books and films.
TELL US SOMETHING WE DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU
Moving things make me cry - I love warm cuddly people and above all having a laugh.
