Conservative defence spokesman Liam Fox has taken time out from front bench politics to wed his long-term partner and fellow doctor Jesme Baird.
The couple have been engaged since June
The former GP, 44, and Dr Baird tied the knot at St Margaret's Church opposite Parliament on Saturday.
Dr Fox announced his engagement to Dr Baird, director of patient care at the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation in Glasgow, in June.
Earlier this year, he failed in his attempt to become leader of the Tories.
He came third in the contest and was kept in the shadow cabinet as defence spokesman when new leader David Cameron unveiled his frontbench team last week.
