As the Conservative Party meets for its annual conference in Bournemouth, Ann Widdecombe is recording an exclusive daily video diary for BBC News Online.
The former shadow home secretary, who is hugely popular among grassroots Tories, has been signing copies of her latest novel during the event. In her third instalment, Ann Widdecombe welcomes a crack down on crime.
