Video diary: Another side of conference
Throughout the party conference season, BBC News Online's Emma Lynch will be bringing you an offbeat video view of the event.

We'll be delivering a flavour of what's going on away from the main conference hall as Blackpool, Brighton and Bournemouth are taken over by politicians, party activists and the media.

This week, in Blackpool we've been behind the scenes at the Labour Party conference, meeting delegates, campaigners and some of the hundreds of people who help to put the event together.

Final day

The Imperial Hotel returns to business as usual after bidding farewell to Tony Blair and the Labour Party.

Day three

On day three, Michael Meacher braves the cold water and media pack while Kevin Spacey warms the crowd for Clinton - although one Blackpool resident thinks he should see the towns marvellous toilets .

Day two

On day two, security was stepped up as Tony Blair made his keynote speech to the conference. Meet the police officers on patrol in Blackpool and find out more about the media operation there from the man in charge.

Day one

Visit one of the pubs where thirsty delegates relax after a hard day debating and meet some of the campaigners lobbying the conference.

Meet the chef who is cooking up a feast for delegates in Blackpool and hear from a veteran Labour member about what the conferences means to him.
