Man is injured in armed robbery in north Belfast

Police

A man has been injured during an armed robbery at a power tool suppliers in Duncrue industrial estate in north Belfast.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, entered the store shortly after 1300 GMT on Thursday.

They hit a member of staff over the head before tying him up and demanding access to the safe.

The men got away with a small amount of cash and also stole a large red tool box on their way out.
