Seagate is to create an additional 85 jobs in the city
About 85 new jobs are to be created at a computer company in Londonderry as part of £60 million investment.
Seagate Technologies is to create the posts at the Springtown plant as part of its plans to develop research and technology in the city.
A further 10 research posts will be established at Queen's University, in Belfast.
The announcement was made by the Enterprise Minister Arlene Foster at the Springtown site on Thursday.
Ms Foster said this was an investment which could easily have gone elsewhere within the Seagate corporation.
She said the strong case made by local management and the support offered by Invest NI.
About 1,400 people are currently employed at the factory in Springtown.
The company closed its factory in Limavady in 2008 with the loss of almost 1,000 jobs
