Man jailed for indecent assault

A 34-year-old man from Limavady has been jailed for two years for indecently assaulting a teenage girl.

Stephen Hutton from Roemill Gardens admitted plying the 14-year-old with drink before attacking her.

Hutton pleaded guilty to two acts of gross indecency in Limavady in May 2008.

He was jailed for two years at Londonderry Crown Court on Monday and put on probation for a further three years.

Hutton was also placed the sex offenders register for 10 years and banned from unsupervised access or contact with children under the age of 18.
