Licence delayed by club problems

Derry City FC

An application by Derry City supporters for a licence to serve alcohol at a social club has been adjourned until the team's position is resolved.

The licence had been sought for the social club in Crawford Square.

A solicitor for the social club said he was applying for an adjournment because Derry City was experiencing financial difficulties.

Judge Pearse Grant agreed to adjourn the application until the issues surrounding the club are resolved.
