Teenager is raped in Londonderry

The teenager was attacked in the Moyola Walk area of the city

Police are investigating the rape of a teenager in Londonderry during the early hours of Saturday.

The victim, who is aged in her late teens, was attacked in the Moyola Walk area of the city sometime between 0200 and 0300 GMT.

Police have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the assault to contact detectives at the PSNI's Rape Crime Unit on 0845 600 8000.

Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers.
