People in Boho in Fermanagh have called on the Roads Service and Rivers Agency to deal with recurrent flooding in the area.

The waters around Killyhommon and Samsonagh started rising on Thursday.

Guests attending a wedding on Friday struggled to find a way through and the primary school at Killyhommon, which has 63 pupils, had to close.

Louise McLaughlin has three children at the school and said the flooding was worse on Friday.

It is not clear when the school will be able to re-open.

The school was flooded after the River Sillees burst its bank after heavy rain on Thursday night.

Eileen McKenzie, principal, said the flooding was an ongoing problem stretching back years.

"Every time we face heavy rainfall we can anticipate heavy disruption to our school day," she said.

"But also, we don't know what next week will bring us."
