Car vandalised outside wake house

police

Vandals have attacked a car while its owner was attending a wake in the Woodbrook area of Londonderry on Saturday night.

Sinn Fein councillor Elisha McLaughlin condemned the attack.

Ms Mclaughlin said the owners of the car had come from Galway to pay their respects to a family friend.

"It must have been a very traumatic experience for them and sends out a very negative image of our city." she said.
