Man found unconscious in street

police

Police in Londonderry are appealing for information after a man was found unconscious close to the city walls in Magazine Street.

The man was discovered at about 2350 BST on Wednesday.

He was taken to Altnagelvin hospital where he remains in a stable condition.

Police are keen to establish what happened and are asking anyone who was in the area from 2300 BST onwards to contact them.
