Heavy snow closes schools in NW

Some rural schools in County Londonderry and County Tyrone have been closed because of heavy snowfall overnight.

In County Derry, St Mary's Primary School, Cloughcor, Cumber Claudy Primary School and Listress Primary School in Slaughtmanus are closed.

Immaculate Conception College in Derry is shut, as is Castlederg High School.

In County Tyrone, Ardstraw, Drumlegagh, Langfield and St Theresa's Primary School, Loughmacrory, are closed.

Up to 10 centimetres of snow fell in some parts of Northern Ireland, causing flight disruption and travel delays.
