Death follows stabbing at house

A woman is in a stable condition in hospital after she was stabbed several times at her home in Coleraine.

A man was found dead at the house in the Mountsandel area early on Saturday morning.

The police have said they are not looking for anyone in relation to the death and a crime is not suspected.

Coleraine councillor Billy Leonard said local people were "aghast". "There is a lot of shock in the area and there are families in a desperate state today."
