Release in bouncer murder probe

A 50-year-old man arrested in connection with the murder of a Londonderry doorman in June 2007 has been released without charge.

Brian McGlynn, 28, was shot dead in front of his girlfriend at their home on Fountain Hill in Waterside.

A 37-year-old man arrested on Wednesday by detectives investigating the murder remains in custody.

Mr McGlynn was originally from Strabane, but was working as a doorman at a pub and nightclub in Derry.
