Police have released two people arrested in connection with the murder of Londonderry doorman Brian McGlynn in June 2007.

A 30-year-old man arrested on Wednesday was released unconditionally.

A 23-year-old woman arrested in the city's Shantallow area was released pending further enquiries.

Detectives investigating the murder are still questioning a 46-year-old man, who is also being held on suspicion of INLA membership.

Mr McGlynn, 28, was shot dead at his home in the Fountain Hill area of the Waterside.

He was originally from Strabane, but had been working as a doorman at a nightclub and a pub in Derry.

Detectives have also appealed for a person who recently contacted them at Strand Road police station about the murder to get in touch again.
