Car dealer to close Campsie site

Charles Hurst dealership
The company hopes to redeploy staff to other premises

The car dealer Charles Hurst is to close its Londonderry showroom.

Seventeen people are employed at the premises at Campsie, but a spokesperson said it hoped to redeploy most of the staff within the group.

One employee will remain at the Campsie site to assist with sales and after sales needs.

The closure follows Charles Hurst's decision to consolidate all of its Used Direct operations within their complex at Boucher Road in Belfast.
