Man still questioned on stabbing

Gardai in Monaghan are continuing to question a 35-year-old man in relation to a multiple stabbing in Letterkenny, County Donegal.

A 34-year-old man, who was arrested on Thursday, has been released.

The incident happened at an apartment block in the centre of Letterkenny on Thursday morning.

The victim, Kristian Shortt, 28, was moved from Letterkenny General to a Dublin hospital overnight. Details of his condition have not been released.
