Appeal after dogs kill 21 lambs

Nine sheep were badly injured in one of the attacks

Police have appealed to dog owners to control their animals following two sheep worrying incidents near Garvagh, County Londonderry.

In the first incident on Monday, 21 lambs were killed on land at Liscall Road.

Another nine sheep were badly injured in another attack, discovered on Tuesday morning.

Police have appealed for anyone who noticed dogs running free in the area to contact them.
