Man injured in pellet gun attack

The attack happened in the Marianus park area on Sunday

A man has been injured in a pellet gun attack in Londonderry.

He was hit in the leg by a pellet as he walked through Marianus Park, in the cityside area of Derry.

Police are trying to trace the occupants of a grey or silver car, which was seen in the area around the time of the attack.

Detectives investigating the incident have urged witnesses to contact them with any information about the attack.
