The police in Londonderry have carried out a series of searches as part of an investigation into illegal drugs.

On Friday, the PSNI searched a house in Pennyburn Court.

Buildings in Sunbean Terrace on Bishop Street and Benvarden Avenue in the Waterside were also examined last week as part of the investigation.

The searches followed a warning from police a week ago that they would carry out searches as part of a crackdown on the growing of cannabis.

One person has been arrested.
