James Meehan, who was convicted of the murder of James McFadden on Wednesday, has handed himself in.

Police are treating a fire which destroyed most of a primary school in County Antrim overnight as arson.

A man who had been driving a stolen Range Rover is shot by police in the County Down village of Gilford.
