Drug support group concerned at huge rise in referrals

Dealing with the drug Mephedrone on our streets, despite it being made illegal, is creating additional pressure for community organisations.

In fact one group has told the BBC that over the past year the number of referrals to them has increased by almost three-hundred per cent.

FASA or the Forum for action on Substance Abuse says while demand for their services is up, their funding is not and that is creating a very uncertain future for clients and staff.
